Call for Presentations

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Proposal submission due by 2/27/12.

Information Technology professionals and organizational leaders are invited to share their expertise in I.T. at the North Country Technology Symposium on May 23, 2012 in Potsdam, New York.  The organizing committee is accepting proposals for presentations to be offered as part of a multi track agenda of one hour sessions covering a variety of I.T. topics of interest to organizations in the North Country.

The North Country Technology Symposium is for North Country leaders by North Country leaders.  The event encourages adoption of information technologies in the region’s Business, Healthcare, Government, and Community Services sectors through sharing of experiences, ideas and information by colleagues in the field.

The North Country region boasts a rich store of I.T. expertise and the North Country Technology Symposium provides an opportunity for I.T. professionals to share their craft and learn from others – all in one day.

Our History
The first North Country Technology Symposium took place in 2010.  There has an impressive outpouring of support and participation in response to the Call for Presentations and attendance for these past events.   Nearly three dozen presenters spoke at each of the 2010 and 2011 events.  Each of them where volunteers and simply willing to share what they knew about a particular topic in I.T.  About 200 people have attended each year and a similar response is expected for the 2012 event.

You are invited to share what you have learned by submitting a proposal for a presentation.
